The Institute conducts courses for awards offered by the University of Dar es Salaam and the Ministry of Health.

The Institute conducts certificate courses for:

• Nursing Assistants (One year)
• Health Records Technology (Two years)
• Lower Limb Orthotic or Prosthetic Technology (One year) in TATCOT
• Wheelchair Technologists (One Year) in TATCOT

Diploma courses take four years covering the following disciplines:

• Nursing

• Physiotherapy
• Orthopaedic Technology
• Occupational Therapy
