Kozi ya CPE hapa K.C.M.C., Moshi, inatoa mafundisho ya utunzaji na ushauri wa kichungaji kwa wachungaji na watu wenye uzoefu katika ustawi wa jamii, katika mafunzo ya afya na katika uongozi wa hospitali hapa Tanzania na katika nchi nyingine za Afrika ya Mashariki.

Mkazo umewekwa hasa kwa ushauri nasaha wa kiroho kwa watu wanaopambana na matatizo yanayoletwa na ukimwi.
Msingi wa CPE katika maeneo yote ya kazi zilizotajwa hapa juu ni kuangalia hali ya kiroho ya mtu. Hivyo kozi za CPE zinaingiza baraka maalum kutoka Injili katika kazi za makanisa, za jamii, za vituo vya afya na za udiakonia.

Tunawakaribisha wanafunzi kutoka madhehebu yote ya kikristo.

Mission and Vision of CPE

      The CPE course at K.C.M.C., Moshi, provides for education in pastoral care and counselling for ministers and other professionals of the social welfare, health care, and hospital administration sectors from Tanzania and other East African countries.

      Particular attention is given to counselling and pastoral care for HIV/AIDS afflicted persons.
      The spiritual aspect in all areas of work as cited above is the base for CPE. The CPE courses thus provide for a fruitful input from the Gospel to church related, social, health care, and diaconic activities in society.

      The courses are open for students from all Christian denominations.

Namna ya kufundisha CPE

CPE ni mtindo wa mafundisho unaojenga juu ya uzoefu na utendaji. Utunzaji na ushauri wa kichungaji unafundishwa na kuzoezwa katika kutenda, na, wakati hali nzima ya mwanafunzi inapoguswa, unaendelezwa katika mwanga wa theologia na saikolojia. Neno “Clinical” hapa ina maana ya “katika utendaji” au “kuhusu matatizo ya mtu“.

Wagonjwa waliolazwa K.C.M.C. ni “nyaraka hai za kibinadamu” wetu wanaotufundisha jinsi a kutambua misingi ya maisha ya binadamu, na jinsi ya kuhusanisha maisha ya mtu na imani yake.

Teaching Method

CPE is an experience based method of learning in which Pastoral Care and communication are learned and trained in practice and, under the auspices of personality orientation, are reflected from the viewpoints of theology, and human psychology. The word “Clinical”, in this aspect, means “practice oriented”, or “related to cases”.

The patients admitted to K.C.M.C. are our “living human documents” from whom we learn to take a look at the conditions of human life, and how to integrate life and faith.

Kipengele cha ushauri nasaha

Sehemu ya majuma matatu ya kozi ya CPE imewekwa kwa kuwapa wanafunzi ujuzi hasa na maarifa ili waweze kutoa ushauri nasaha katika maeneo yao ya kazi.

Wakati wa mafundisho hayo ya ushauri nasaha tunashirikiana na watumishi wa hospitali waliopitia mafunzo maalum kwa kupitia National AIDS Counselling Programme (NACP).

HIV/AIDS Counselling

A three  weeks part of the course is designed to furnish the students with the particular background knowledge  and skills to do HIV/AIDS counselling in their respective area of work.

In this part of the course we cooperate with the hospital staff trained for HIV/AIDS counselling by the Ministry of Health through the National AIDS Counselling Programme (NACP).

Tiba Shufaa
Kozi ya CPE vile vile ina semina ya siku tatu kuhusu Tiba Shufaa inayoongozwa na Taasisi ya Tiba Shufaa Afrika walioko katika makao makuu ya KKKT, Arusha.

Palliative Care
Another part of the CPE course is a three day seminar on Palliative Care conducted by members of the African Palliative Care Association coming from the ELCT headquarters in Arusha.
