Nurse Anaesthetist Program

This program is open to Nurse Grade A from within or outside Tanzania. The course is NOT a Ministry of Health's training program. It is under the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre and is widely recognised.

The course is a one year program. A Certificate of Nurse Anaesthetist is offered by the School on successful completion of the course.

Application should be sent to the Principal, School of Anaesthesia, KCMC. Applications from outside Tanzania are especially welcome.

Joining Instructions And Conditions For Nurse Anaesthetist

Starting academic date: 1st October
Course conclusion: August
Three weeks leave at the end of 30th course weeks (Foreign students might wish to go back home or else stay in Moshi on their own expense).
Accommodation and Boarding is at KCMC.
Annual Course Fee breakdown in US Dollars: (or equivalent in T shs. For Tanzanian Students).

Student should provide his/her own outfit pocket allowance. At Moshi it is approximately Tsh. 15,000 per week.
The School fee to be paid in advance by Telegraphic Transfer or Cheque to:
- For Tanzanian Students:

- For Foreign Students:

Student Visa for foreign students to be processed on arrival with the following documents:

Valid Passport with expiring dates not less than a year period on arrival
Updated Curriculum Vitae
Application letter for the course by the student (hand written)
Confirmation letter of the training support by the sponsor
Letter of acceptance for the course from the Institution
6 Passport size photographs
140 (one hundred and forty) US Dollars in CASH (not a cheque and should not be included in the School Fee transaction). The School will not be responsible for any money included in school account. Official Visa Forms will be filled on arrival.
